Each member is
encouraged to fully participate in the functions of the Chapter by serving
on one or more of the following Committees:
Communications: This committee
handles public relations and advertising as well as publication of the
WagOn, our chapter newsletter.
Membership: This committee
corresponds with prospective members and conducts installation of new
members. They publish the Chapter’s annual Membership Directory
and maintain our scrapbook.
Finance: After a budget
is established for the year, this committee is responsible for selecting
money-raising opportunities to support our Chapter and fund the annual
scholarship.
Program: Chaired by the
Vice President, this committee plans the programs presented at our monthly
meetings as well as special events throughout the year.
Community Outreach: It
is important to give back to the community. Our chapter supports local
organizations who provide services to those less fortunate. This committee
coordinates these efforts.
